The first Siemens Sustainability Forum was held in Shanghai today. Under the theme of ‘Transformation with numbers, development with infinity’, the forum focuses on digital technologies and applications, and actively promotes sustainable development driven by science and technology innovation and open ecology. During the forum, Siemens announced a number of initiatives: the official launch of the Siemens EcoTech Statement for the Chinese market; its debut at the Shanghai International Carbon Neutral Technology, Products and Achievements Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Shanghai International Carbon Neutral Expo); and the launch of the ‘Siemens Zero Carbon Pioneer Partner Programme’, as well as the launch of the ‘Zero Carbon Pioneer Partner Programme’ in 2020. Siemens China Zero Carbon Pioneer Partner Programme’ and the launch of the 2024 Siemens Xcelerator Open. The forum also featured a number of sub-forums and activities, including Building Sustainable Infrastructure, Driving Sustainable Manufacturing, and Siemens Supplier Sustainability Day.
