Development Bank of Japan (DBJ)
is a large Japanese state-owned bank with assets exceeding 17 trillion yen, formerly known as the Japan Development Bank. It serves more than 3,000 well-known Japanese and multinational enterprises such as Mitsui Sumitomo, Rakuten, and Toshiba. DBJ's support for Japanese companies in China mainly covers three areas: financing, investment, and consulting. It has established partnerships with multiple financial institutions, including the China Development Bank, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, CITIC Group, CITIC Securities, and the International Finance Corporation of China, and is currently working to promote cooperation between Japanese companies, local governments, and China's high-tech industries.
